Coordinated multi-phase in-situ stabilization program. Required coordination between field (consultant) and laboratory to maintain high volume(300+) and fast turnaround requireets. Monitored QA/QC frequency for the client.

Evaluated the basis of the NYSDEC water quality standard for phenol to determine if the limitation was scientifically based for an industrial client. Prepared SPDES variance request for industrial client to modify the permit for phenol.

Supervised and conducted a jointly funded (NYSDEC and USEPA) storm water runoff evaluation program from five industrial sites along the Buffalo River.

Managed remedial investigations/feasibility studies (RI/FS) at two hazardous waste sites in WNY for the NYSDEC Superfund program.

Conducted numerous investigations and environmental assessments at industrial sites. Field activities have included soil gas surveys, groundwater monitoring, test pit explorations, and collection, analysis and interpretation of data.

Conducted environmental audits for metal fabrication and metal forming facilities to determine compliance with Federal, State and local environmental regulations.

Experience includes solid and hazardous waste management, subsurface investigation, environmental monitoring, commercial and industrial audits, wastewater treatment process evaluation and environmental property assessments.

Over 35 years of professional environmental engineering consulting experience. Project experience includes working with the EPA and/or NYSDEC to evaluate, design and monitor a broad range of environmental issues for industrial clients. Specific issues involved metal fabrications, phenol contamination and chlorinated organic contamination.
